In the world of Network and Internet Marketing everyone is always looking for the Best MLM company to join.  Many people chase after it like it’s the fabled pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow.  In today’s Network Marketing world, online marketers often move from one mlm company to the next like they are playing a game of “Musical Chairs”.

In reality, your better off choosing one company and sticking with it.  Or you can pick two to create multiple sources of income.  What ever you choose you should stick with it.  I’ve read studies that suggest that this is the correct course of action.  I’ve also personally seen with my own eyes people receive awards at Network Marketing Conventions that, forgive me for saying so, but they weren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer. However, they chose a company stuck with it and although they did very little, others in their down-lines built huge down-lines under them and they profited.

Ultimatel, deciding which Home Business is the Right MLM Company for You is a matter of personal choice.  So, I’ve outlined Several different factors for you to consider in determining which is the Best MLM for you.

1.  The Compensation Plan -  In order for the company to qualify as the best mlm, it’s compensation plan must have the ability to create:

a.  Upfront Cash Flow, or now money in order to help you keep afloat until you can build your business.

b.  Residual Income – this is brass ring that everyone in the industry is chasing.  This is money you continue to receive, long after the work is done, that requires little or no work to maintain the future payments.

2.  The Product -  There are a number of factors to look at with regard to the companies product.

a.  The company must have a product that people can believe in.  Once the initial newness wears off of joining a company, people will begin to drop like flies, if they don’t believe in the product or it’s valuation.  ex. if monthly auto-ship is $125 a month and the product can be purchase for $9.99 online.

b. The product must be easy to understand and to explain, especially for new members.  If it takes being a rocket scientist to describe the product, the company won’t last long.

c.  The product must have real perceived value.  So, even if a person doesn’t build the business they could still sell the product, or remain on auto-ship because they like it.

3.  Timing -  In order for a home based business to be the best mlm, the timing must be right.  For example, pet rocks sold like hotcakes back in the day, I know I had one.  However, I believe their time has come and gone.   So, when picking the right mlm, make sure that business is booming.

Historically speaking, network marketing companies flourish during times of economic hardship.  Economic downturns don’t discriminate, almost all economic classes are effected.  Specifically, professionals like Real Estate Agents, Accountant’s, Dr.’s, Lawyersand others who normally wouldn’t be open to such ideas are looking for ways to make extra money.  These are the type of people you want in your business.

4.  Training and Mentoring -  Look at the type of training, coaching and mentoring that is provided to new members by their upline.  Your looking for a company that has webinars, weekly trainings and has a system in place to help their down-line duplicate their efforts.  Success leaves tracks. Find a company with a great mentoring program, plug in and follow their step by step instructions.  Additionally, when choosing a network marketing company, you want to make sure that your sponsor in the mlm is experienced, knowledgeable, a good mentor who is willing to work with you.

So ultimately the decision about how to choose the right MLM company is up to you.  The tips I’ve outlined for you should help you make the right decision.

Happy Hunting.

Great topic John,
There is no best company…just a company that is best for each individual.

As a Network Marketing Consultant, I am asked the above question ”Which Company?” far too often. My answers is always an expansion on the following information:

If you have chosen which MLM company to work with or have had your business a while, you are ready to begin.
If you haven’t yet decided which company to engage with, then here is a list of criteria to consider:

How many years has the company been established?
Are you impressed by their sales-history?
Have you viewed the profit graph?
Does the company hold any debt? If so, how much?
Do they produce a range of products you would be reasonably enthusiastic about selling?
Is there potential for your business to expand abroad?
What shape is the management team in?
Does the marketing plan look plausible?
Are they a member of the DSA (Direct Selling Association)?

If you are not provided with solid answers to all of the above questions, move on to the next company. Even if the product-range looks enticing, doesn’t mean to say they compensate well, treat their consumers fairly or are financially stable.
